Meet Erin and Lindsay Barber: The Heart Behind Furry Land of Tyler-Longview
Phoenix Franchise Brands is excited to introduce Erin and Lindsay Barber, the proud owners of Furry Land in Tyler-Longview, Texas! Alongside their beloved pups, Duke and Ellie, the Barbers bring a deep passion for pets and an unshakable commitment to their new community. 
From Washington to Texas: Bringing a Love for Pets to Life
Erin and Lindsay both grew up surrounded by dogs in the beautiful state of Washington, where their homes were always filled with four-legged friends. When they met, Duke, a Mini Australian Shepherd, was already part of the family. Shortly after, they welcomed Ellie, an Alaskan Klee Kai, making Duke a very happy big brother. As many pet lovers can relate, Duke and Ellie truly run the Barber household and are the heart of their family!
In 2023, the Barbers relocated to Texas, looking for a way to connect with their new community through something they truly loved: enhancing the lives of pets and their families. This passion led them to join the Furry Land family in September 2023, and just a few months later, their business officially launched on December 26, 2023.
Building a Team and Growing Strong
Since joining Furry Land, Erin and Lindsay have assembled an exceptional team, which includes their General Manager, Jessica, and groomers Ashton, Jodie, and Megan. Under the “Managed Services” business model, their GM Jessica, with support from the Furry Land home office, manages much of the day-to-day operations, including their growing presence on social media. Their Facebook following has grown to over 900 fans, with more than 300 followers on Instagram—fantastic work, Jessica!
Their dedication to top-notch service has driven rapid growth. The Barbers added a second grooming van to their fleet in Q3, enabling them to expand their service capacity. With each quarter, they’ve increased their revenue by more than 70%. Just in Q3 alone, their team serviced over 760 pets and welcomed 172 new clients—a huge milestone for Furry Land of Tyler-Longview!
Balancing Life and Business with a Love for Adventure
Outside of Furry Land, Erin and Lindsay keep busy with day jobs, quality time with family and friends, and adventures with Duke and Ellie. They love taking the pups on long walks and exploring scenic trails whenever possible. Their passion for pets, family, and community shines through in everything they do.
